High School Athlete – Get Athletic Scholarships

Life For Those Who Receive a
College Athletic Scholarship...

"Let me start off by saying the Get Athletic Scholarships resource was an absolute treasure amongst the hundreds of websites and blogs advertising information and advice on how to get yourself to the next level. I am exactly the type of athlete you target, not necessarily a “blue chip” superstar but someone willing to work extremely hard on the field and in the classroom to achieve my dream of college soccer. The only thing standing in my way was my (and my mother’s) complete lack of knowledge of what to do and how to do it. That being said, this resource was just what I needed to anxiously get started on the right path. I’ve since spoken to several schools who have demonstrated serious interest in me as a player, and can attest to how helpful and accurate this resource truly is."

In our discussions with dozens of athletes, we’ve found that there’s often a disconnect between what a high school athlete thinks it means to be a college athlete and what its really like.

Our program takes a holistic approach to counseling you not only about how to OBTAIN an athletic scholarship, but how to ADAPT to what it means to BE a scholarship-ed athlete. It’s important to know what you can expect… and what’s expected of you.

Being a Scholarship-ed Athlete Ain’t All Fun ‘n Games!

It is a lot of hard work, but also comes with a myriad of rewards, and we don’t just mean financial. So, what does committing to a college athletic program mean for you, no matter what level of play?

  • 4-6 hours daily conditioning and practicing,
  • 5-6 days per week
  • Keeping up your grades
  • Understanding that you are representing your team at all times
  • Continually competing with the next guy; coaches recruit over you

It’s not all “peaches and cream”, but can be a fantastic opportunity and an experience of a lifetime. However, to be clear…its a lot of hard work and the school you choose will have a direct impact on your enjoyment of the process along with what you take away from your experience.

Each school offers it’s own unique environments and benefits. The key is to match what you want with what they offer. And yes, in many cases you CAN afford to be “picky”… even if you’re NOT the next Heisman Trophy candidate.

"GAS is very easy to understand. The Step-by-Step process is thoroughly detailed with helpful examples."
