Our daughter was NOT your typical “star” athlete. In fact, her high school coach told her she was at best a D-III athlete. On top of that, she hadn’t even decided she wanted to play college sports until 1/2 way through her Senior year…yikes! What she did have was good natural athleticism, speed and a take-no-prisoners attitude about her training. And while all that was great, we were clueless about how to go about what actions we needed to take to help her achieve her dream. We immersed ourselves in all things related to getting her a college athletic scholarship and developed a Six-Step Game Plan that took her from a D-III player focus to a D-I scholarship-ed athlete.
